I have always had a passion for empowering, motivating, and advocating. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal Justice from Montclair State University, and my Master's degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. My internships included helping low-income families at Family Promise and a Group Facilitator for women living with HIV at Hope House during my graduate studies. I specialized in case management, mental health, and ABA training. Additionally, I have many years of experience working with children as young as one to five years old as a director of a daycare setting, which translates to my work with children in a therapeutic environment. I am OutCare certified as culturally competent in the care of the LGBTQ+ community.
As a Licensed Social Worker, I like to connect with my clients in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment, meeting the clients where they are in need and working at their pace. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My approach with therapy involves cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused interventions and a strength-based approach. If you are ready to overcome life's most significant challenges, then I am ready to support you.
