As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), It is my mission to cultivate an empathetic and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients can flourish. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Roger Williams University and a master’s degree in Social Work from Montclair State University.
With experience working in educational settings, in-home support, and outpatient programs, I bring a varied perspective to working with young adults and adolescents. While the core of my experience is focused on adolescents I am passionate about working with adults of various ages and backgrounds. My dedication is particularly focused on working with ADHD/ADD, autism, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and grief, as well as struggles with identity, values, and meaning.
At the core of my practice lies a commitment to person-centered care. I firmly believe in empowering and supporting individuals to take charge of their own journey toward healing and growth. Drawing from a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Additionally, I utilize insights from humanistic therapy, existential philosophy, the person-in-environment perspective, and somatic practices to support the client in addressing and exploring their needs.
In our sessions, I strive to create a collaborative atmosphere where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue their aspirations. Together, we embark on a transformative journey towards greater well-being and fulfillment.
